Good Morning

My yesterday plan failed. I tried to force myself to sleep until noon but my mind just doesn't seems to shut down. So, here I am now.

1. HALAL
Last few week I tried to cook butter prawn, so I bought the cereal to make the prawn crispy. This cereal is actually imported from Singapore and to all Muslims, do not worry, it is HALAL. Here is the Halal sign.
So, do you notice the label with 'Singapore' at the bottom? Singapore Halal and Malaysia Halal is different? I assume it will be the same but why not unify the symbol and use it worldwide?

2. UPSR
UPSR exam had just passed about a month ago and this is one of the question that came out.
Jimmy bought some chocolate, he gave half of it to Kenny.
Kenny bought some candies and he gave half of his candies to Jimmy.
Jimmy ate 12 of the candies and Kenny ate 18 of the chocolate.
Now, the ratio between Jimmy candy to chocolate become 1:7 and the ratio between Kenny's candies to chocolate become 1:4.
So, how many candies did Kenny bought?

I already solved the question but it is very difficult for a Standard 6 student to solve this. The students must be stunned to see this question and whoever created this question, please use your brain wisely. These kids still have 10 yrs ahead to study, do not 'horrify' them. So, if a Standard 6 student really can solve this, what about you? Good luck!!!

Ok, gotta go for breakfast now. See ya...

Finally it is Friday. For the past whole week, I woke up at 4am every morning and went back at 8pm to rush for my design. Finally today sent out everything and I can take a day off tomorrow. What a short relief. Gonna sleep until lunch time tomorrow. 1 task finished but many more to come. Stress stress...

I want to take this opportunity to wish all Hindus, Happy Deepavali and enjoy the long weekend.

1Malaysia F1 Team

1Malaysia F1 car will be ready by end of this year and will have its first debut in Bahrain, March 2010. It will be a great opportunity to promote Malaysia and 'Barangan Buatan Malaysia". The whole 1Malaysia Team will be Malaysian even the drivers and the pit's team. This is for sure Malaysia Boleh spirit.

However, I am quite disappointed with our live telecast in the national TV. Few years back, all the races are shown live but now, I believe only Malaysian GP has Live showcase. It might be due to the low sponsorship but how many of us has the ability to own Astro? Delayed telecast is always not preferable as the race result will be out online as soon as the race ended and there will be no excitement of watching it anymore. Hence, F1 fans will become lesser and lesser.

If time is a problem as some Europe races will be held at midnight Malaysian time but who cares. Even MU, Chealsea, Arsenal fans can wake up to watch football match, why not F1 fans. This is the main point that we really need to look at. Even tonight race at Singapore GP will be delayed telecast according to the newspaper. What a dissapointment.

Busy and Tired

Although I had a very long weekend during the Hari Raya break but it turned out to be more tiring than normal days. Last Friday, I experienced my first time jammed in the North South Highway. It took me ridiculously 11 hours to reach Kelantan from KL. However, the traveling time can be reduced if my passenger was not car-sick.
Haha...Blame orang pulak, padahal driving skill tak bagus.
On my way back on Tuesday night, it took me another 8 hrs of suffering.

During the tiring journey, I heard a lot of advise or rule through radio saying that "Please do not park your car at the emergency lane". It actually got me confused. What is the main reason of having emergency lane? From what is know is for ambulance or fire brigade to pass through in case there is an emergency up front the road. However, if there is a car broke down, can he parks at the emergency lane or just leave it in the middle of the road? I believe almost 99% of drivers parking at the emergency lane are due to emergency issue. What they really need to advise is to ask those road rats to stay out of emergency lane. That is not their fast forward lane. Everyone is driving patiently in the jam and what gives them the priority to go faster? That really pissed me off...

Do you notice that the slow lane is actually empty from the taxi

Anyway, I had a good time at Kelantan. I went to my colleague's wedding and it was my first time I actually experience Malay wedding ceremony which was pretty simple compare to Chinese.

Happy Couple :-)

Besides that, I get to eat nasi kerabu, somtam, tomyam, daging goreng budhu, etc. Oishi oishi oishi... With all that in my stomach, haih... fat fat fat...

After enjoying all the nice foods, now need to be back to work. Currently, we have a few projects running at the same time and it has been a very busy week and the weeks to come. I hope that with all the tension and stress, it might actually burn some of my fat. Hahaha...

H1N1 Part 2

Last week, the teacher of SMK USJ12 was confirmed death from ILI (Influenza-like Illness) but today she was confirmed AGAIN to have died of H1N1. So, does the word confirmed is not affirmative?

Anyway, my condolence to the teacher and RIP.

Nice Song

Never realise this song few years back until Fly FM play it during the MTV World Stage promo.
Enjoy enjoy...

Jogging

It has been so so so long that I have not sweat like today. I had reduced the frequency of swimming and playing badminton since 2-3 months ago. So, this morning I am so determined to wake up early and go for jogging. Feel great after completing 2 rounds at my condominium area and finally see my sweat flowing out of my clogged sweat gland.

There are a few things to improve:
1. Must find partner to jog together
2. Download a few nice songs to play during jogging - increase motivation to go for more rounds
3. Target 3 rounds next week

Going for breakfast soon. I will control myself to reduce the intake of Roti Canai Telur. Very fattening. OK, gotta go, take care everybody, stay healthy and exercise more.

H1N1

Lately, H1N1 has been spreading like rain. 569 new cases and 1 death reported yesterday bringing the total of fatalities to 68. 35 patients are in intensive care unit, so do expect the fatalities count to rise.

It was shocking to get a news yesterday stating that a school can only be given holiday if 500 students were infected with H1N1 in that particular school. And this is only applicable for those who does not involve in any examination. UPSR and PMR are coming soon, does that mean infected student still need to attend the examination?

Last Wednesday, a teacher from SMK USJ12 passed away due to pneumonia which is rumored to be infected with H1N1 but later confirmed it was not due to H1N1. However, the attendance decrease drastically. Now, there is only 1 teacher passed away with H1N1 alike death and the attendance already become so bad. How can you wait until 500 of your students to be infected?

How can we contained SARS so well few years back, and not this time. Whose failure is this? Civilians or Health Organizations? Anyway, take your own action to prevent H1N1 infection and help to stop H1N1 from spreading

TRANSFORMERHOLIC

Transformer 2, Revenge of The Fallen has been out in cinema since 24 June 2009, and yet you can still see people talking about it, planning to watch it 2nd, 3rd or 4th times or maybe 1st time. This indicate that how much does a movie can affect someone.

This time I'm gonna talk about someone I know, who can watch Transformers 4 times in a week and spend thousands of Ringgit for Transformer models.

Part of the collection

However, he is too stingy to get himself a new toothbrush.

Is there anyone dare enough to brush with a toothbrush in this condition. If you do, then you can consider joining Fear Factor. Last time when I was young, I used to have a used toothbrush to brush my school shoes. But, the condition I can assure you is better than this. How much does a toothbrush cost, compare to the Transformers models. Not even 1%.

There might be a story behind. As you can see from the movie, there are a pair of twins robot which can transform from an old ice-cream car to a new Chevy.

Maybe his toothbrush also can transform.

Lesson learned:
1. Buy what you like, but hygiene comes first
2. Don't think too much, your toothbrush will never transform
